Sunday 21 September 2025
Saucony Run Shoreditch Race Start: 09:00
All runners will cross the start line by 09:20.
The race starts and finishes on streets adjoining Shoreditch Park, N1 6TA, with the Event Village based inside the park. The Start and Finish lines will be clearly signposted and easy to find from the park.
We advise all runners to arrive by 08:00, one hour prior to race start at 09:00. All runners will cross the start line by 09:20.
If you do not need to drop a bag you may proceed directly to your start pen.
In order to help congestion at the baggage area, we are asking our amazing runners to arrive race ready.
Race ready simply means to arrive with no bag and head straight to the start line. This will speed up the start process and will make sure our runners all start on time!
YOUR
RACE BIB

Opted IN for a finishers t-shirt
Below is an example of your race number, prefixed with a letter which corresponds to the start time you have been allocated based on your predicted finish time. This indicates which arrival window you should aim to arrive in on race day.
Your race number is individual to you and cannot be resold or transferred. Please fill in the emergency details on the reverse of your number. Running in someone else’s bib may result in us being unable to identify you or your next of kin correctly in an emergency.
In an effort to reduce waste, we asked you in your registration if wanted a finishers t-shirt. Your race bib will indicate whether you opted in or out of a t-shirt - you will only receive a t-shirt at the finish line if you opted for one in your registration. See below for the different bibs.
To the left is an example of your race number, prefixed with a letter which corresponds to the start pen you have been allocated based on your predicted finish time. This indicates which pen you will enter in Shoreditch Park.
You will either have received your race pack in the mail, or if you have opted for race pack collection, you will need to pick up your race bib from:
The Saucony Store - Covent Garden
Race bib collection will be available:
Friday 19 September: 12:00 - 19:00
Saturday 20 September: 10:00 - 17:30
Don’t forget to bring your safety pins with you on race day.
NOTE: If you opted for race pack postage and it hasn’t arrived by Friday 19 September, please visit the Saucony Store on Saturday to pick up a replacement.
Your timing chip, which accurately measures your time, is attached to your race number.
Please do not remove, bend, fold, or cover the chip, as we will be unable to track your time. If your timing chip is bent in the post, visit the help desk on Sunday morning and we can provide you with a replacement.
At the bottom of your race number are two tear-off tags. The bottom tag attaches to your bag and is your baggage label.
The top tag is your reclaim tag – keep this attached to your race number throughout the run and have it ready to hand to the baggage staff to collect your bag quickly after the race.
Please attach the tag to your bag before you arrive to keep queue times down.
Make sure you write your name on the front of your bib, so spectators can cheer you on!
Don’t forget to bring your own safety pins with you! Our top tip is to come race ready with your race bib visibly secured to the front of your running top.
If you have opted for a finishers t-shirt, you will pick this up once you have crossed the finish line – you won’t receive this with your race pack.
Will open at 07:30, please collect your bag as soon as you finish your race.

Opted OUT of a finishers t-shirt

ON THE COURSE
Volunteers will be handing out water at the one aid station on the course at approximately 6km.
6km - Water cups and a water bottle refill station.
We are completely plastic-free on the route, and all water is served in 100% recyclable cups. Please try to dispose of your cups into the large bins placed to the side of the road just after each aid station. Please only take one cup at a time. Cups that don’t make it into the bins are much harder to recycle, so we’re hoping you can all help us be as green as possible.
If you are not planning to take water, please try to keep to the opposite side of the road to allow other runners through. The water station is long, so there’s no need to rush to the first table.
Once the runners have crossed the start line, family, friends, and fans will be able to track participants throughout the route on the official Saucony Run Shoreditch App. This will be available to download via the Apple App Store & Google Play Store a week before the event.
The App will contain participant tracking, spectator info, course maps & more!
Please note, your name may not appear in the tracking up until just before the race starts.
Look out for volunteers in their pink hi-vis positioned along the route and at key turning points, as well as cheering you on they will help with general directions for runners and spectators.
In the event of an emergency, runners will be asked to move to the side of the road to allow access for an emergency vehicle. Please follow any instructions given by course marshals, at all times.
The medical centre is located shortly after the finish line. Professional medical staff will be available here, as well as on the course.
Medical staff will also be located at the aid station, should a runner face difficulty. There will also be a medical information point located at the help desk should you have any concerns about a runner.
If you feel unwell during the race, please stop and find your nearest race marshal or aid station.
Each kilometre will be clearly marked on the route.
Our friendly photographers at Marathon Photos will be taking your pictures on course, as well as at the finish line. Look out for the “smile for the camera” signs and be sure to give the photographers a wave or thumbs up if you’re feeling the love.
We will send you a pre-race email with a link to invite your friends and family to view your photos as you run, plus an email with a link to purchase your photos after the event. Every time you pass a Marathon Photos photographer, you could have photos online within seconds.
Make your Saucony Run Shoreditch medal even more special by engraving your medal with your name and finishing time.

With thousands of you running, we need to manage the race timings carefully. Therefore, any runners going a little slower, who are predicted to finish after 11:15, may be asked to move to the pavement so that we can get Shoreditch moving again!
The sweep team will be there to support anyone post 11:15.
We have a fantastic line-up of live entertainment positioned all along the route to energise runners and keep spirits high for all. We strongly suggest running without headphones to hear any necessary emergency announcements and to soak up the incredible atmosphere.

Throughout the planning of Saucony Run Shoreditch 10K, we’ve been working closely with the Metropolitan Police Service to ensure we keep everyone safe and secure.
As well as our teams of staff and volunteers, we have security staff in position at all key areas and around the entire 10K race route. These security staff and police officers are there to help the day run smoothly.
There will be toilet facilities positioned in Shoreditch Park, as well as next to the start line.
There will also be toilets positioned at the aid station on the route.
We encourage you to consider managing your own hydration and running ‘self-sufficient’ by bringing a running water bottle.
There will be water cups available at the aid station on the race route; however, if you’d prefer to bring your own bottle, there will also be a refill point within the event village and at the aid station at 6km.
