Near Shoreditch Park 

Start at Corner of Southgate Rd and Shepperton Rd, N1 3DT – 0.2km 

Walk to corner of Southgate Rd and Downham Rd, N1 3JF (4 mins) - 1.6km, 7.5km 

Walk to Shoreditch Park, N1 6TA to see the finish (10 mins) - 10km* 

*If your runner is running faster than 4.30 mins/km you will need to walk quickly, or you might miss them at the finish! 

Near Haggerston 

Start at De Beauvoir Square Garden, N1 4LE – 6.5km 

Walk to corner of Downham Rd and Hertford Rd, N1 5AA (3 mins) - 8km 

Near Dalston Junction/Dalston Kingsland 

Corner of Southgate Rd and Ardleigh Rd, N1 3HX – 2.25km, 4.7km, 5.5km 

Getting There 

We recommend that all spectators use public transport on race day. Please make sure you check the TfL and National Rail websites in the week prior to the event for any planned disruptions or engineering works. 

  • Latest road closure information can be found here. We do not recommend driving, as many roads will be closed from 05:00, and parking in the area will be extremely difficult. 

  • The following stations are closest to the start/finish. You’ll be able to follow our signed walking routes to Shoreditch Park: 

    Old Street Station (Northern Line and National Rail) - 10 - 15 mins 

    Hoxton Station (Windrush Line) - 10 - 15 mins 

    Haggerston Station (Windrush Line) - 10 – 15 mins 

    Liverpool Street Station (Central, Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Elizabeth Lines, Weaver ,National Rail) - 20 – 25 mins 

     

    There are also several stations positioned close to the route: 

    Dalston Kingsland (Mildmay) - Near 3.5km point 

    Dalston Junction (Windrush) - Near 6km point 

    Essex Rd (National Rail) - Near 1km point 

  • Local bus services operating in the area may be subject to diversions from 04:30 onwards, due to our road closures in the area for the event. For further information on bus travel on race day, please visit TfL in the week leading up to the event. 

  • Please note that there are no specific cycle parking facilities for the event. Santander Cycle docking stations along the race route will be suspended for the day and therefore unavailable.

  • There are a number of e-bike hubs available for the event. It will not be possible to park e-bikes in locations other than these hubs on event day. 

  • We want all spectators to enjoy watching their runners take part, however their safety and your safety is our top priority. Here are some quick tips and etiquette reminders when it comes to cheering for them on race day. 

    • Stay behind barriers and follow marshal instructions. 

    • Keep areas for runners, volunteers, and aid stations clear. 

    • Bring signs, noise-makers, and energy! 

    • Be mindful with dogs, bikes, or large groups in crowded areas. 

    • Only cross the route at official crossing points. 

    • If you see something that looks concerning, please report it to your nearest marshal or event official. 

    • Stick around in Shoreditch Park after the race for food, drinks, entertainment and more. 

    • Pick a meet up point in Shoreditch Park to meet your runner after the race, it will be busy! 

  • Once the runners have crossed the start line, family, friends, and fans will be able to track participants throughout the route on the official Saucony Run Shoreditch App. This will be available to download via the Apple App Store & Google Play Store a week before the event. 

    Please note, runners may not appear in the tracker until just before the race starts.
